August has arrived! a good time to enjoy the Perseid meteor shower that initiates natural fireworks in the sky. The Perseid meteor shower will occur on August 12th-13th, as the earth will pass the flow of dust and debris left by comet Swift-Tuttle. The particles (meteoroids) crashed into the Earth’s atmosphere and burned to produce bright streaking line in the sky known as a shooting star. A natural phenomenon that occurs every year would rise again to the earth. Announced by Astronomy Essentials, the meteor shower will be visible in some parts of the world, because the weather is quite sunny. So that, hundreds of meteors will be visible at night. [2] Interestingly, in 2016, Perseid meteor shower is expected to experience increased activity. That’s because in previous years, the debris of comet Swift-Tuttle is the cause of this meteor shower interested in advancing toward Earth by gravitational force of Jupiter. Lucky month, that have passed through the initial phase of quarters last three days won’t be too disturbing observation because it would sink shortly after midnight.
2. When will the Perseid Meteor Shower Happen?

The Perseid meteor shower will peak on August 12, 2016. In the evening, peak estimated 150 meteors will pass every hour and seemed to come from the constellation Perseus. Neap months early so the advantage for the observers. Perseus constellation will rise at midnight when the moon will be immersed 01:00 am. Observation can be done until dawn at a speed of 59 km/sec. Perseus was named after the Greek mythological hero Perseus, the constellation in the northern sky. [3]
3. How to See the Perseid Meteor Shower?

Go to a dark area, in the suburbs or countryside and prepare to sit outside for a few hours. It takes about 20 minutes for your eyes to adjust to the dark, and the longer you wait outside, the more you’ll see. A rate of 60 to 100 meteors per hour for instance means two to three meteors per minute including faint streaks along with bright, fireball-generating ones. Some skywatchers plan to camp out to see the Perseid meteor shower, but at the very least, viewers should bring something comfortable to sit on, some snacks and some bug spray. Watching the Perseid meteor shower would be nice if some company, such as family, bestfriend and couples. Then, just relax and look upward for the celestial show.
